Mrs. Buttercup Pageant (G1)

Welcome to the Mrs. Buttercup Pageant…the final division of the Buttercup Pageant series. We hope you have enjoyed all of the pageants thus far and thank you for being faithful viewers! Tonight’s pageant consists of seven contestants over the age of 20 and married, that will compete in only two categories: Everyday Wear and Formal Wear. The swimsuit competition has been cancelled for this pageant due to the delicate condition of two of the contestants. (Editor’s Note: I just couldn’t seem to find any maternity swimsuits that I liked, so no swimwear competition today! Sorry!) After this pageant, the winners of all 4 Buttercup Pageants will be announced at the Title Ceremony! But first, please join me in welcoming the seven Mrs. Buttercup contestants!

These seven women are not only beautiful, but successful as well. They are all wives and mothers, and many of them hold very important jobs in Fortune Shores! Let’s meet our contestants!

Little Miss Buttercup Pageant (G2)

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to the first annual Little Miss Buttercup Pageant! I am Horatio Vanderbilt, and I’ll be your host for this evening. This is a brand new beauty pageant organized and funded by the Women’s Club of Fortune Shores. There are four divisions of the Buttercup Pageant: Little Miss Buttercup for ages 6-12, Miss Teen Buttercup for ages 13-19, Miss Buttercup for ages 20 and up, and Mrs. Buttercup for our lovely married women of Fortune Shores. Each division’s pageant consists of three categories in which the contestants will compete against each other within their division. They are as follows: Everyday Wear, Formal Wear, and Swim Wear. The contestants will then be judged based on their appearance, style, and poise. The first place winners will be crowned Princess or Queen Buttercup, and will hold that title until the second annual Buttercup Pageant. The different division pageants will take place on different evenings, so as not to boggle our dear viewers! Oh yes, and the most important part of the entire pageant…the judging! We do not have a panel of experts to judge the pageants; we don’t have a panel at all in fact. No, my dear viewers. YOU are the judge of the Buttercup Pageants! At the end of each broadcast, there will be an opportunity for you to vote on your favorite contestant. The contestant who receives the most votes wins the pageant and the crown!
